Initial assessment- All services begin with an initial assessment which will assist in setting goals and treatment planning. Initial assessments are 90 minutes in length.

Positively Social (Social Skills Program)
The Positively Social program is geared towards children 4 and up. The main focus of this program is to provide children and adolescents with the social skills needed to interact with their surroundings. We offer individual and group sessions. Individual sessions are 50 minutes long with one-on-one (therapist/child) interaction on topics such as: eye contact, personal space, conversation skills, turn taking, self-regulations, emotions, reciprocal play, reading social cues, conflict resolution, and stress management. The individual program is geared towards specific needs of the child.

Groups are geared towards interaction between individuals. Our goal is to provide the group with natural peer interaction. Placement is based upon initial evaluation and group availability.

Skills targeted in Positively Social groups include: peer-interaction, awareness of surrounding, self-regulation, turn taking, appropriate social behavior, expressing emotions, asking for assistance and personal space to mention a few.

Positively Social is appropriate for children and adolescents without a formal diagnosis and the following:

Autism Asperger's Syndrome Down Syndrome ADHD
Pervasive Developmental Disorder-PDD Depression Anxiety and stress related disorders Sensory processing disorders

Group therapy offers a safe environment to explore concerns with others facing similar issues. Group psychotherapy is available for children, adolescents and adults. To enroll in group therapy, please contact us for an intake. This will allow us to match your needs to an appropriate group.

Parenting Training
Being a parent is rewarding yet challenging at times. The goal of parent training is to teach parents and care givers the techniques necessary to enhance their child's social, communication and play skills. We provide parents with the tools and training needed to help their children learn and succeed in the challenges that may come their way. Our parenting training is offered individually or in a group.

Training focuses on the following: Social engagement * communication * appropriate play * stress reduction* toilet training* self-care * behavior management* creating a peaceful home environment* adjusting to a new diagnosis.  Top

South Asian Community Program
This program is developed to assist the South Asian Community of Atlanta and nearby cities. There is a growing population of Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis and Sri Lankans in Georgia. We provide support, counseling and advocacy for individuals who identify as South Asian. Reaching out for support can be difficult and scary. We strive to create a safe and confidential environment for our clients to receive the assistance they need. Whether you are in a crisis or just need someone to speak with you in your native Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu language, we are here to guide you.

Therapeutic Sitters
We offer therapeutic sitters through our program Special Needs Home Care Services (SNHCS). Our program specializes in providing in-home care for children, adolescents and adults with special needs. Our providers offer a wide variety and range of services geared specifically towards individuals with special needs. These services include babysitting, tutoring, mother's helper, after-school care, transporting needs, companionship and respite care. SNHCS offers a piece of mind that loved ones are in caring hands during your absence. Our therapeutic sitters have completed a training curriculum, have undergone a thorough selection process, are First Aid and CPR certified, and receive ongoing training in the area of special needs.
